David Austin Rose ‘Teasing Georgia’

new green line

David Austin Roses

Rosa ‘Carding Mill’ New      Dense, upright plants begin to bloom in late May and early June with big, double, cupped flowers that start off with a bold peachy orange hue that gradually changes and evolves to soft apricot-pink. The ever changing show makes for great viewing and is repeated throughout the summer because of its strong reblooming ability. “Carding Mill’ is hardy, disease resistant and offers one of the strongest, most charmingly fruity aromas of any of the David Austin Roses. 3-4’ high by 2-3’ wide.

Rosa ‘Darcey Bussell’ New    The first double crimson rose to come from David Austin in nearly a decade! Form is dense and compact, with the most perfect, double, full flowers beginning to open in mid May and opening freely thereafter. A fresh fruity fragrance accompanies each bloom as it opens over the course of a long season. Hardy and disease resistant. 2-3’ tall by 1-2’ wide.

Rosa ‘Lady Emma Hamilton’ New     A vigorous, stocky rose with leaves that are bronze at the first flush, gradually shifting to a dark green which provides the perfect foil for the long playing flower show. Large buds form in May and are themselves ornamental due to their size and shadings of dark red and orange. As the buds open, double, nearly globular flowers show a distinct tangerine-orange color on the inside petals while the outer ones carry a more yellow-orange hue that creates a distinctly unique effect. Flowers carry a strong fruity aroma. One of the hardiest and most disease resistant of the David Austin roses, heavy blooming with excellent reblooming potential. 3-4’ tall by 2-3’ wide.

Rosa ‘Charlotte’     3½-4” wide, cup-shaped blooms open a rich, buttery-yellow, with the outer petals aging a softer yellow giving mature flowers a sensational bi-color look. Crisp, light to medium green foliage generously fills out this robust plant that will have the garden in color for weeks on end. Upright-growing, 5-6’ high by 3-4’ wide.

Rosa ‘Teasing Georgia’ New     Can be grown as a bush or a climber depending on your preference, but no matter how you grow it, ‘Teasing Georgia’ will be covered in deep green, disease resistant foliage that forms the background for the large buds that open in May with a burst of deep, rich yellow color on deeply cupped, heavily double flowers. As the blooms age, they take on a distinct two-toned look with the middle petals retaining their rich yellow color while the outer petals age to a pleasing pale yellow shade. Hardy, dependable, emitting a strong Tea Rose scent. A vigorous grower with arching canes that can be trained as a climbing rose or cut to form a tall growing shrub.

Rosa ‘Wisley 2008’ New     A vigorous grower whose delicate flowers belie its landscape toughness. Long, arching canes form a fountain-shaped plant that is covered with disease resistant dark green foliage. Tapered buds open in mid to late May revealing 3” diameter, soft, light pink blooms with a fully double complement of petals that arrange themselves in a perfect rosette. Flowers carry a delightful, fresh, fruity scent. 4-5’ tall by 2-3’ wide.

Other Shrub Roses

Rosa ‘All The Rage’     An easy care, vigorous rose that produces a seasons worth of semi-double, 3-4in. wide flowers that are a swirl of apricot shades with luminous yellow centers, finally aging to lipstick pink before dropping cleanly off the plants. 3-5ft. tall. Zone 4.

Rosa ‘Double Knockout’    More compact than ‘Knockout’, with a dense, rounded form, 20-3ft. tall by 3-4ft. wide and loads of deep, pinkish-red, double flowers all summer. High disease resistance. Zone 4.

'Double Pink Knockout' 175

Rosa ‘Double Pink Knokout’   A prolific bloomer with loads of flower buds rising above the dense, deep green foliage opening to the sweetest double, hot pink, 3in. flowers from May to October. Because I'm so fond of the single-flowered Rosa 'Pink Knockout', which I feel is the best thing since sliced bread, I'd rather think of this wonderful new rose, not as an improvement on, but as an alternative to 'Pink Knockout',- offering a choice for those who prefer a full, double-flowered rose.

Rosa ‘Double Red Knockout’      More compact than ‘Knockout’, with a dense, rounded form, 2-3ft. tall by 3-4ft. wide and loads of deep, double red flowers all summer. High disease resistance. Zone 4.

Rosa glauca     Strong growing purple canes lined with smoky blue-gray foliage and further adorned with charming, single, 1½", clear pink flowers in May-June. 5-7' tall with an upright, arching habit. Zone 2.

Rosa ‘High Voltage’      Medium sized, double, bright yellow blooms cover the plant from late May throughout the summer producing an “electrifying show that will stand out in the garden as well as in the house as a cut flower. An easy to grow rose, highly resistant to mildew and blackspot. Its no-fuss good looks that last throughout the season make it a first rate landscape rose. 3-5’ tall. Zone 4.

Rosa ‘Home Run’    This is the reddest rose I've ever seen; unbelievably, intensely red, and, it has inherited the legendary disease resistance of its parents, 'Knockout' and ''Home Baby Love'. 3ft. tall with bright, scarlet-red, single blooms all season.

Rosa hugonis 250

Rosa hugonis (Father Hugo Rose)  The Father Hugo rose grows 6 to 8' tall with an upright arching habit and finely textured foliage. The single flowers are a lovely canary yellow, 2½" wide, profusely borne in May-June. Tolerates poor dry soil. Intoduced in 1899. Hardy to zone 4.

Rosa 'Knock Out'     (1999)This 2000 AARS winner is aptly named, with continual clusters of deep cherry red flowers throughout the summer. Plus, it’s drought tolerant, disease resistant, Japanese beetle resistant, and cold hardy! Compact form.

Rosa 'Oso Easy Paprika' 175

Rosa ‘Oso Easy Paprika’     Low and mounding, 1-2ft. tall with loads of spicy, reddish-orange, single blooms accentuated with a bright yellow eye. Glossy green foliage emerges with a hint of red in the new growth and exhibits exceptionally high resistance to mildew and black spot. Zone 5.

‘Oso Easy Strawberry Crush’   A low mounding rose that delivers clouds of blooms that emerge strawberry pink and transform to cream. The flowers are large, double and self-cleaning, and the foliage is glossy, dark green with the same high disease resistance as all the other 'Oso So Easy' roses.

Rosa _Pink Knock Out__ (_Radcon_) 175

Rosa 'Pink Knockout'     Begins to bloom in late May with single, bright pink flowers that just keep coming without deadheading until fall. 3-4' tall and wide, with deep green, shiny, disease resistant foliage. Excellent hardiness, zones 4-10.

Rosa _The Fairy_175

Rosa 'The Fairy'     A polyantha rose unsurpassed as a carefree rose. Small, pink flowers, ( no fragrance), cover the shrub through summer. Grows just 3ft. tall and spreads 3-4ft. Extremely disease resistant.

Rosa x ‘Foxy Pavement’    A tenacious, dependable landscape performer that tolerates and beautifies some of the toughest landscape areas with the greatest of ease. Dense and spreading, 'Foxi's' lustrous, light green foliage is a backdrop for repeated waves of fragrant, deep pink, double blossoms. Showy dark red gips in mid to late fall compliment the excellent fall foliage color and provide food for birds. Grows 3-4ft. tall by 3-4 ft. wide.
