Agastache ‘Heatwave’     3ft. tall stalks of bright fuchsia flowers all summer. Fragrant, drought tolerant and very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

Asclepias curassavica ‘Silky Deep Red’ New     Beautiful red flower clusters, said to be the deepest red of any Asclepias, bloom all summer long, atop 30” stalks of attractive, warm bronze colored, lance-shaped leaves. Heat and drought tolerant, and an excellent source of nectar for Monarch butterflies. Looks great in the sunny garden and also make a great cut flower with a very long vase life.

Asclepias curassavica ‘Silky Gold’ New     The same as ‘Silky Deep Red’ except with umbels of soft, golden yellow flowers.

Asystasia gangetica ‘Variegata’ New    A tropical groundcover that works well for mass planting around trees and in borders and in containers. It has broadly flared, trumpet-shaped, blush white flowers that transition to a mullen rose tone, then lavender. Its prostrate stems have very attractive green leaves that are mottled with creamy white and a paler shade of green. Recommended for part shade.

Bacopa Scopia ™ Great Pink Ring Indent4-15Early blooming, large flowers in the palest of pinks, with a purple center. A vigorous selection with good branching and a nice, versatile, simi-trailing habit.

Begonia Million Kisses ‘Devotion’ New    A member of the small-flowered Million Kisses series known for its semi-trailing, cascading habit and very floriferous nature. Vibrant, orangish red flowers are long blooming, April to Oct. Low maintenance. No deadheading required! Great for baskets and containers.

Calibrachoa     MiniFamous are known for great outdoor performance, early flowering and an easy to control, semi-mounding habit. These compact growers bear, brilliantly colored, petunia-like flowers that are great for hanging baskets, pots and mixed containers in hot, sunny spots! Only 4” high.

Cleome‘Senorita Rosalita’Indent4-15A new, award winning selection with clusters of bright lavernder-pink flowers blooming late spring to fall. Somewhat shorter than other Cleome at 24-48ins. tall. Lush, dark green foliage and, unlike many Cleome, this cultivar has no thorns or tackiness. Blooms continuously from late spring to fall. Very heat and drought tolerant. Dramatic at the back of the sunny border and in larger, mixed container.

Coleus (SOLENOSTEMON)  Indent4-15Fast growing and easy, Coleus provides an array of colorful foliage for the garden or containers. They benefit from pinching back to promote branching. Humus rich, well-drained is preferred. Sun to part shade. Zone 10

    ‘Fishnet Stockings’     Brilliant, lime-green/chartreuse foliage with deep burgundy veining creates a 'net' effect. Good heat tolerance. 24-36" tall.

‘Sedona’Indent4-15The colors of a ‘Sedona’ sunset! Leaves are a brilliant shade of russet-orange with scalloped edges and darker undersides, 10-14” tall. Last season, I stuck a single plant of ‘Sedona’ in a large terra cotta pot and placed it our heavily shaded, Hosta area. It was stunning, and, I’m embarrassed to say, evoked more oohs and aahs than any of the Hostas!

    ‘Solar Flare’ New     Almost paisley patterned, starting with purple-red centers outlined in green, enclosed with a red ring that has a light green edge.

    ‘Tobasco’ New     This one is hot! Dark purple-red interiors with a lighter and brighter middle red ring surrounded, by dark red edges.

    ‘Trusty Rusty’ New     A large-leaved selection with copper colored foliage that has gold trim. Late to flower and more vigorous than C. ‘Rustic Orange’. Grows 18-24’ tall and 16-24” wide.

Coreopsis Salsa™ Jive Indent4-15A real "stand-out" with white flowers that have a large, dark burgundy eye and orange-bronze cones. 1-2in. flowers bloom all summer on sturdy plants 12-18ins.

Cosmos atrosanguineum New     Deep, brownish red, chocolate-scented flowers, 2” wide. Blooms late summer, early fall. Attractive silvery foliage. 24-30” tall.

Cuphea llavea ‘Vienco® Burgundy’ New     Large, bold, lavender and white, bi-colored flowers over attractive foliage. Good heat tolerance and a vigorous, upright growth habit. An excellent container plant, weather mixed or on its own. Grows 17-20” tall.

Cuphea llavea ‘Vienco® Lavender’ New     Just like the preceding variety except with stunning, dark red flowers.

Diascia TwinspurIndent4-15Early-blooming, compact, low-growing plants that are well suited to containers, rock gardens, or the front of the border. Prolific bloomers that require evenly moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Cut back in mid-season to extend bloom time. Grows 6-10” tall. Zone 8.

Euphorbia ‘Breathless Blush’ New    Dark green floiage with red tones and small white bracts tinted pink. Blooms all summer with self-cleaning flowers and a nice, dense, mounding habit. Work well in the sunny border and in mixed containers.

Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ SpurgeIndent4-15Sprays of airy white flowers bloom all season over a network of delicate, wispy foliage, 12-18ins. high. Very heat and drought tolerant. A very charming plant, durable beyond belief, bringing a delicate airiness to any mixed planting.

Euphorbia ‘Flame Leaf’Indent4-153ft. high, branched stems clothed in smallish, broadly oval, rich purple leaves, each with a precisely drawn, apple-green margin around the entire leaf edge. Grow in reasonably rich, moist, but drained soil. This Euphorbia performs best with adequate moisture.

Gaillardia aestivalis var. winkleri ‘Grape Sensation’ New      A profusion of grape-colored banket flowers bloom all season long,- a unique and very welcomed color for this genus!

Hebe ‘Variegata’Indent4-15This beautiful variegated form is one of the best accent plants for containers! The showy foliage has white edging and the pale lavender flowers bloom on and off, throughout the summer. Grows 36ins. tall or taller. Heat and cold tolerant and unaffected by most adverse conditions!

Heliotropium arborescens ‘Fragrant Delight’ Heliotrope Indent4-15Classic violet flowers with a vanilla fragrance, blooms in summer over rich green, deeply ribbed foliage. Grows 15-18ins. tall. Don’t expect the heady aroma of grandma’s Heliotropes for it has been bred into oblivion in the quest for the “New and Improved”. All was not lost however and todays plants retain some of that evocative fragrance.

Heliotropium Simply Scentsational™ New     Clusters of small, blue-lavender flowers bloom in abundance on mounded plants growing 24-30” tall with lush green foliage. Flowers have a nice, soft fragrance, attracting birds, butterflies and hummingbirds. This vigorous grower exhibits good heat tolerance and is excellent for large combination containers and for use in the summer landscape.
